Re-Assembling Motherhood(s) invites the reader to learn about and from Maternal Fantasies ́ feminist research and collective artistic practice on motherhood(s), care work and representation in the arts.
Composed of seven interdisciplinary artists / mothers and ten children, Maternal Fantasies takes the social invisibility of the maternal experience as a point of departure to produce films, images, and performances of fantastical visibility.
Through personal writing exercises and collective performance scores, they align themselves with ancestral figures of feminist discourses and artmaking, in order to establish new vocabularies and narratives around the maternal for future generations.
As both a handbook and an archive of feminist artmaking, this publication (re-)assembles maternal experiences, reflective essays, autobiographical writing, instructional scores, selected artworks, and a manifesto for a caring economy.

For our International customers we currently have a flat fee of £25.00 for all shipments sent fully tracked and/or signed for depending on your countries options. Please allow 8-17 working days for delivery.

All local custom taxes & duties will be the responsibility of the recipient and we can offer no guarantees on how long each local customs process will take. During any International customs process, duty fees may be charged upon receipt. We will not be able to advise on the likely value of these fees or offer any guarantees on which items or countries are exempt. Refusal of packages or failure to collect your parcel and pay any duties is not the responsibility of & Mother Store and will not result in a refund. The package will be considered abandoned by the courier.
RETURNS
Please Note: As we pay all customs fees on garments from overseas, pre order items are eligible for a store credit only. On pre order we can rarely facilitate exchanges for a new size or colour due to their pre order nature and fact that we carry very limited stock.
We hope that you love everything you buy from & Mother but if something isn't quite right we accept returns or exchanges on eligible items (please refer to our full terms), up to 10 days after purchase. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Please also make sure you ask for proof of postage from the courier.
